We had our Destination wedding here September 2012. Everything was perfect. Michelle did a wonderful job coordinating and setting everything up. And the sweet lady who cooked our meals was sooo nice! Beautiful and peaceful We even rented one of their beach houses a mile or so down the road for family. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast, so it was a little weird getting used to the fact that we had a room (A very nice room with a great view on the balcony) but we were concerned about noise... Lol! We definitely want to go back for a visit!

This place hit the spot - casual atmosphere but great food without the $$$$!! So many favorites from the night ranging from from the duck crepes to the fried artichokes as the starters. We ended up going with the lamb and the seafood medley - both were superb with the lamb perfectly cooked to order. If you have a chance, go on Wednesday- happy hour goes until 7 and the small plates are half price along with the usual drink specials!

Came for an anniversary meal and it was perfectly casual yet delightfully tasty! Will definitely be back because the service was excellent and the food was the best we had on our trip! Definitely a new favorite. They are doing it right!

The best "discovery" of our trip! Just a shame we didn't find it until our last day. We walked over for brunch and enjoyed the atmosphere so much we went back for happy hour. The service was wonderful and the food delicious. Highly recommended!

Awesome new place on 30A. The service was incredible and the food couldn't have been better. We had the duck crepes for an appetizer, then the lamb and a seafood bowl for dinner. We ate every bite!! The dimly lit patio provides such a nice and peaceful atmosphere for a meal. Highly recommended!

This is a great new addition to the west end of 30A! We went to dinner on Friday and went back for brunch on Sunday. Friday night, our group of three tried the heirloom tomato caprese salad (fine), the burger (very good), the crispy fries artichoke hearts (meh), the char-siu glazed pork belly (take a pass) and the grilled red snapper (AH-MAZING!!). Please note, they only serve wine and beer. The atmosphere dining al fresco was lovely - the solo singer was great but we felt like her amp was turned up too loudly to enjoy our conversation. The service was attentive and very helpful. For Sunday brunch, we all had the Fried Green Tomato Benedict with duck fat potatoes. YUM! I ordered the bottomless bubbles but the service was on the (very) slow side, so it worked out to 2 mediocre $7.50 mimosas. It seemed that they were under-staffed for Mother's Day Brunch and it was a small bummer that they don't have Bloody Mary's. The same gal with her guitar was playing the same repertoire, again, too loudly to enjoy our conversation and this time we were seated inside where the sound reverberated off of all the concrete surfaces. I would go back because the entrees we had were delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and fun, but I would like to see the entertainment "unplugged" and it would be nice if they had a full bar.

Popped in with two great friends on the 30A. Absolutely loved it. My one friend is vegan and I'm just picky but they were very accommodating!! Great food and drinks. We also spent some time on the beach!!

What a great way to end a weekend in Destin! The creole omelette was buttery and perfectly seasoned - perhaps one of the best we've ever had. The sauces on the Benedict were perfect, and the duck fat potatoes were an amazing complement. We didn't partake in the unlimited mimosas, but the boat full of mixers did look fun. Definitely plan this great little restaurant into your trip!

This place is amazing local and slow food and a brunch venue that was very much needed in the 30A area. This is also a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue with beach weddings available a block away. The burger was organic and hand patted, fries were extraordinary. Loved the bottomless bubbles display: a canoe lined in red and white table cloths, with different juices to make belini, mimosa, or your own mix to add to the server poured Prosecco. Breakfast and lunch items offered at brunch. Menu changes often. We sat outside under the sail cloths while an Ed Sheeran sounding musician picked away and sang. Gorgeous day, wonderful food, large portions, and bubbles.

Great place for supper. I had the beef tenderloin and it was one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant in years. The kids meals were hard to pick from for a five year old so she went with the pb and j. The jelly was one of their creations which was amazing to me but not for a 5 year old. My husband had chicken and waffles and they were different but probably wouldnt order again. The atmosphere was beautiful and the live music was perfect.

Thursday night burger and beers...we arrived about ten minutes too late so we did not have the special burger & beer. rather great drinks and the full price burgers. all mixed drinks are wine based but very tasty. the service makes this place. we ate on the deck and the bartender was also the server. While working the bar and several tables he never missed a beat. food was good but again the service makes this place. live music was a plus and even fulfilled requests. we would return

Went because we read reviews that it's was reasonably priced. NOT!!! $$$$ Good food but way overpriced. Cheapest main course is a $16 burger.

Yum! Everything about this place was stellar! It's a really cool building (also a B&B), amazing staff & DELICIOUS food. It was a small menu which was cool and I believe it changes fairly often. We had the snapper & the lamb chops. They also have several craft beers to choose from and a fairly extensive wine menu. They also had an excellent musician that played while we are dinner that was really super.

Awesome brunch. Had the burger and a few sake' Bloody Marys. Service was great, even when it got busy. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice brunch experience.

Wonderful place on 30A. Food was excellent, best burger I've had in years, and they are flexible (added sea bass on top of salad for my wife). Great people, and Kat was great server! A gem of the Emerald Coast. What are you waiting for? Why are you still reading? Stop wasting time and go!

It's become a tradition. On our way home from our beach house, we drive 15 miles out of our way to have lunch at Highlands House. Food is always great. Atmosphere is fun and the service is excellent. It is the exclamation point on a fine vacation. After we eat, we fight over who drives the first leg of the trip home dad usually loses.

Wonderful brunch! Great relaxed atmosphere on a shaded outdoor porch with fast and attentive service. I enjoyed the delicious creole omelet. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the eggs light and fluffy. It was served with a side of seasoned potatoes that were barely crunchy outside yet still soft inside--yum! My husband had the blackened Mahi-mahi on cheese grits, and it was full of flavor and very tasty. We'll definitely be back!

A chance bike ride past has now become our favorite brunch on 30A. The blush mimosas started us off In the right direction, and despite being small the menu made it hard to choose! My husband and I went for the highland house burger-- candied bacon, carmalized onions and added goat cheese...on a clearly hand formed patty. Our teenage daughter lapped up the strawberry and Nutella crepe so fast we can only assume it was great. Add in the friendly service and big welcome and bowls of water given to our pup, and we are hooked! Can't wait to come back over Labor Day and try dinners during the fall and winter.

We enjoyed the Thursday burger and beer special. The food was great, the service was exceptional, the setting was welcoming. We will be sure to have a return visit.

Excellent food and such a great (and welcome) departure from the regular fried seafood scene on the Gulf Coast. We got all small plates (Mama's Shrimp, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Chicken and Waffle Skewers, and Pumpkin Pasta with Ham and Brussels). Went on a Thursday in December so it was pretty dead, but the service was great, would definitely recommend!

The only reason I gave 5 stars is because I could not give 10. Insanely great food! I had the grilled snapper with pea sucatash. The fish was fresh and never frozen. Taste was out of this world. Highly recommend!!!

Awesome! We found this place on Yelp & it is definitely worth trying. My wife & I had a couple of appetizers - the chicken n waffle skewers & the boiled peanut hummus. Delicious!! Best hummus ever! Kids all had burgers and they liked them. Great location & service was excellent! Kevin was our server and he was the best. We will be back!

Wonderful experience, great room, resonable prices, beach access, good breakfast, well staffed with very nice people, but the best part is the big covered decks and cool outdoor bar. We loved it and will definitely go back. ...often!

Amazing. Service is attentive and food is excellent. Menu is not large but I have eaten here twice and the bacon burger is one of the best I have had. The deviled egg app is also very good. The shrimp roll is ok. Absolutely recommend. The chef and services perfectly complements the great food and atmosphere!

We didn't stay here, but I will give a review of the restaurant which just opened on the bottom floor. Great inside and outside seating. Choose a bench-like round table outside, regular seated table inside, or sit at the large bar outside. Menu is small but very tasty options. We tried 3 apps which were all very good, had a blackened shrimp poboy, and the burgers. My family said the burgers were out of this world, my shrimp poboy was light and delicious. Great meal!! The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the service wasn't quite up and running smoothly but I'll contribute that to only being open for 9 days. The chef is very knowledgeable and friendly!! Try it out for yourself!
